I usually set out for a run with the intent to go somewhere. I don’t just want to run some contrived loops, but instead want to climb mountains, see new terrain and challenge myself in places that inspire me.

When I come back from a run feeling like I accomplished something, like I’m a slightly different person than when I began because I have seen or done something totally new, then I feel like I have had a good run.
